Learn more about Information Security

A web-based Knowledge Link course is available to all Penn faculty and staff who may be interested -- you don't have to work in information security or get a special invitation in order to review the course. It's available online at Information Privacy and Security at Penn. The course covers the topics of privacy, security, and secure data handling in many of the situations that are typical for Penn.

Finding Help

Generally the best place to start when you think you need help or advice on privacy and information security is your LSP (local support provider). If you're not sure who that is, in SAS you can consult the "Who's my LSP?" pages of the SAS Computing website.

Your LSP is usually familiar with information privacy policies at Penn, and also knows the kinds of tools that can be used to help you get rid of sensitive data that is not needed, or to securely store sensitive data that you need to keep.
